CURRIED CABBAGE AND BACON

An old college favorite!
2 cups cabbage
1/2 rasher of bacon chopped
1/2 teaspn curry powder (or less to your taste)
olive oil, butter margarine for cooking
METHOD
1. Fry the bacon in a small amount of oil until it is crispy. Mix in the curry powder and cook for a few seconds until it releases its aroma. Then add cabbage. Stir fry until cabbage is tender, Add more oil or a small amount of water if your pan become too dry. This makes a great meal on its own.
